Yea! Monoblocks are cool. They can solve every concieveble powerproblem.
Most of them on the market are relative upmarket products with big prizetags though.
Maybe the Outlaws could go about this in the simplest possible way and just shave a channel off one of their existing products, as was mentioned above.

A nice 200 watt monoblock would be stellar! ~400 watts output on a 4 ohm load. 2 ohm stability.
12 Volt trigger
Bridgeable with another monoblock
Cool running temperature
100% true professional balanced circuitry and power topography with balanced XLR inputs. RCA input for backwards compatibility.
Substantial build quality with very low noise level.
Removable, heavy duty 20 amp plug.
The Sherbourn 1/300MB monoblock has XLR inputs, but is not a true balanced design, which is disappointing since you don't really get the benefits of balanced electronics.
We need a reasonably priced, quality monoblock that really is balanced. I don't want to have to pay a truck load for a Theta or a B.A.T. just to get a professional balanced amp!

If they're going to come out with a monoblock I'd prefer to see it closer to the 400-500 watt output range... Two of those would drive my M80Ti's nicely. Of course they would have to "sound like" my 755 so that I have the option of buying a third monoblock, or using the 755 to drive the center.

The only "inexpensive" monoblock amps i have seen are by AudioSource. The reviews are mixed on some models however, and the company does not have anything near Outlaws customer support or users forum. I would welcome a monoblock amp by Outlaw. I plan on purchasing a 1050, but my 28+ years old speakers may not be efficient enough for the 1050 to drive them. They still sound great to my ears and if power is needed a pair of Monoblocks would be the perfect solution. In fact more could be added as finances allowed. This is my 1st post but let me say that I have greatly appreciated the info I have gained on HT by reading all the forums!

A 2 channel amp is a good idea I think. 200W/channel, $500 - $750?
I have 2 Acurus A200x3 amps now for 6 channels. If Outlaw did a 2 channel amp, I'd consider swapping what I have for the 2 channel plus the 755. I think having all 5 or 6 or 7 channels powered when listening to 2 channel stereo is a waste of power and electricity.
But then I'd also look for a specific 7.1 DSP mode in the "high end" process Outlaw puts out. THX Ultra2/Logic 7-ish.

Any new amp should have consideration given to the ability to bridge channels together.

I'd like to see a high-end quality 2-channel amplifier of at least 100 wpc into 8 Ohms with the capability of driving 2 Ohm loads.
I'd also like to see a matching quality 2-channel preamplifier.
There are still many of us 2-channel music lovers out there that would love to find a no-frills "Outlaw" system that would not break the bank -perhaps under $1,100 for the amp and preamp together.
Even an 2-channel integrated model (60 wpc would be acceptable, but at least 100 wpc would be preferred) would be welcomed for under $750.
To reference some of the competition in this segment, Arcam is currently offering a special system price on their DiVA A75 (50 wpc integrated amplifier), T61 (digital tuner), and CD72 (compact disc player) for a price under of $2k.
Keep on surprising us with your great values, you Outlaws!
