A good amp with no frills/clutter? I think we can count on Outlaw for that -- all three of their amps (the old 750 and the upcoming 770 and 755) have been exactly that. I don't see that changing. I don't know about bridgeable, though -- they haven't done anything like that on the multi-channel amps, but bridging on those is less common than on two-channel amps, so it is a possibility for an Outlaw two-channel.

I guess bridging isn't necessary, I could use the other channel for my center rear that I only have a pre-out for. Of course I would also have to get the go ahead from my wife to mount a speaker up in the middle of the room. I probably have a better chance of talking the Outlaws into bridging their amplifiers! <:

I would also be very interested in a simple 2 channel amp, but what about a 3 channel? I am not sure if it has been mentioned before, but that would be the next version I would like to see. Compared to the complexities of other product, it would seem not too difficult to offer these based off the current amps.

I would like to see a nice two channel amp to go with my 755. Maybe 300 watts per channel to drive a set of main speakers. I would have just bought a 770, but things didn't work out as planned. My next steps are a two channel amp, and then a 950 to replace the 1050.

This message is in response to Daryl on Mar 3. Please be aware that when recievers show that A-B selection , that doesn't mean that there are two descrete amps built in!! It's the same amp in series, Re: stable at 8ohms on A+B or 4 ohms on A or B, so just parallel those two pair of 8ohmers, same result and seperate V/C's will work descretely. I answer calls about this all day, and it is the most common misconception.
P.S. Niles make an awsome 2 ch amp that is stable at 2.66ohms(3pr.of 8ohm spks)100w RMS
Peace!!!

It's sometimes nice to have the switcher into the amp, though, rather than requiring an extra switch box.

A feature I wish more HT amps had. How about if you want to have dipole speakers in the rear for HT, and direct speakers for music? It'd be nice to have an A-B switch for that.

What about a nice monoblock? That way we can buy as many as we need....

I agree on the monoblock idea - then one can get as many as needed. I see the trend for cheap pro amps for subs, but would like to get into large, clean home amps for my subs.

I can see it now: 500 watt Outlaw Mono - call it the Outlaw Model One

I'll take two!
