I just got one of these as a BD present to use with my SB3 and it really enhances the whole music listening experience. It is a bit pricey ($250)but it allows you actually control the SB and see everything that is being played wherever you are that within range of your wireless network.

If you are using the SB Duet then you have the controller and know what I am talking about. Any future recommendations I make will be for the Duet as it gives you the player and controller for $350.

Nice buy!

I'm considering an ipod touch with the squeemote app. I'm not sure how it would compare though? I don't have an ipod (or an mp3 player at that), but was thinking it would be a good alternative with some added flexibility.

Probably better off going the route you took.

ndskurfer -- I don't have the SB or controller, since I have a Sonos system. But I can say the Sonos app on a ipod touch works great and saves me a boatload of money on buying an extra controller for the Sonos.

I am not sure I would recommend the Duet for anyone who would be using the devices analog output (for example us RR2150 users). While it doesn't seem to be made anymore, the SB3/Classic has a better S/N ratio and better Digital to Analog chips.

There also seems to be cottage industry for upgrading that device.

Thanks for the tip. You can still get a classic from places like Crutchfield and Amazon. It appears they are replacing the classic with a SB Touch .

The classic is just that. I bought mine before Logitech bought them and when that did happen I wondered how long it would be before Logitech screwed around with success

That being said they seemed to get it right with the controller
