That's a tough one.
I have a pair of the 2200's and I really like them but I have had a problem with them humming.
I even ran them through a CI Audio humbuster but really didn't have any effect on the humming.
It really isn't that bad so I live with it.
The reviews of the XPA-2's that I have read have been very positive, lots of clean power.
I would really like to try one but where I have the 2200's I could not put anything any larger so there is no chance for now.
One thing to consider is to buy both and give them an in home trial for the 30 days and see which you like best.
That is a lot of money to be tied up but then you can really find out which setup is best for you.
