I have programmed my 1050 remote with the JVC codes given in the manual, but unfortunately some but not all of the keys function normally. Power, stop, & direct track access work but play and pause do not.
Any suggestions?

You may want to check out Hi-Fi Remote . They may have some more setup codes or button codes you can use.

Thanks. I checked there but all I could find was code 0558, which is what I got from the 1050 manual.

Any other 1050 people out there using a JVC DVD player?
