No, the DV-983H has been shipping since March - it is their last word on standard DVD playback. (My OPPO 98x review looks at all three of their current players, by the way.) It's a hell of a player, but it's not a Blu-ray player.

The BDP-83 will be their first Blu-ray player, and there is currently no official page for it. I don't expect one to appear until they start taking orders (which will be when or at most a week before they have stock in hand and ready to ship).

Anyone know if the the DV-983H allows you to output video via HDMI and audio via digital coax at the same time? I am rearranging my main listening / home theater area based upon recommendations from GIK acoustics and have the opportunity to run HDMI instead of component to a projector, but would still need to run non-HDMI to my Outlaw 970.

Yes, it will - I do it with my 983H and my 990 (HDMI through the 990's DVI switching to the HDTV, coaxial digital and multichannel analog audio to the 990). I set HDMI Audio output to "off", but it isn't actually necessary to do so.
