After talking with a lower level customer support person who had no clue what I was talking about (the problem of spontaneous pausing) and not knowing whether the firmware update would solve the problem I "escalated" to a level 2 tech support person.,
This person did some research and stated that the firmware update would not solve the problem of occasional spontaneous pausing. He said I have to send the unit to the service center for warranty work.
Problem is, however, that they may not ever notice the pause, since sometimes it does and sometimes it does not. If not, it would be returned with same problem.
So I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem. Unfortunately it's past 30 days and amazon won't take it back. The problem occurred during the first 30 days, but I kinda forgot about it, while getting my Toshiba with error message resovled. I guess head was elsewhere.
Anybody?????
