I currently run my 970/7125 with two 12" power subs in a 7.1 set up. I read an article about better music with stereo subs. Instead of connecting to the sub out on the 970 use a Y connector between the 970 to the left and right inputs on the 7125 / powered subs. Set the 970 left and right speaker size to large with sub off. Set surround speaker crossovers based on there size. Has anyone experimented with this type connection for Music. If this is better for music what about dolby digital and DTS for movies.
