After reading one of the posts regarding the Belkin PF 60 at Ecost.com I ordered one. As a Canadian consumer it was a great deal. $270 C. It is hooked up with borderfree, so the price listed is what you pay, no additional duties/taxes etc. My question is in regards to keeping it on all the time. When I used the Monster console, I left it on all the time and just powered down the individual components, some of them have clocks so shuting down the power forces them to reboot everytime and that cannot be good. Can I leave the Belkin PF 60 on all the time? Also, I noticed that the voltage readings are different. Using the Monster console, it used to read between 120-124volts, the Belkin reads between 122-126volts. Any comments would be appreciated. Cannot remember who lead me to the great deal, but thanks.

From what I've read in the PF60's manual, you can set it up similarly to the way that I have my Panamax MAX5100 set up - I have the trigger from my Model 990 so that the high current (amp) outlets are triggered on and off in conjunction with my 990 but the other outlets are always on. You can also just leave everything on, too, of course.

Thank you Gonk for your reply. I have another question I am hoping you can answer. Can I plug my subwoofer into a surge protector? I actually have two now. I use one for the processor and amp, and the other one for everything else. So I was thinking of plugging the subwoofer into the surge protector with everything else.

Sure, that's not a problem. Like an amp, you don't want to starve it of current, but unless you have an unusually large amp on your sub that shouldn't be a problem.
