Would like to know a good cd player for +/-$200. Any help would be appreciated.

There has been some discussion over in the RR2150 forum lately about this very subject . Some folks have been using the OPPO Digital DV-970HD DVD player for CD's, HDCD's, and SACD's, which fits in your budget at $150. The Sony SCD-CE595 was also suggested, and I think it's pretty comparably priced. There are a number of other players mentioned in that thread, with a range of prices.

I am very happy with the Oppo DV-970HD thus far.

Looks better than my 6 year old sony DVD player and sounds very very good.

For the money, its quite a deal!

I suppose in a year or so I might upgrade and move the oppo upstairs and see what the market looks like then. The SACD thing is fun also.
