My sentiments exactly.

I actually saw this thing in a local high end audio shop and the salesman wouldn't let it go. He went on and on about the science-of course he also did a demo between a regular and shaved disk but to me I could not tell the difference. This was demo'd on a $150,000 Mark Levinson system too. It just did not make sense either sonically (listening with my own ears) or scientifically as well.

Like everyone elses thoughts...pure snake oil!
