Hello

I am purchasing a SVS subwoofer 20-39CS+ and the samson 1000 amp, I have heard of
some receivers needing a mini-amp between the sub out and samson amp in to ensure the
signal level is high enough to ensure accurate preformance.

I was wondering what's the sub output voltage and impedance of the 1050?

has anyone else run this combo w/ or w/out a problem. I am trying to get everything possible in place before i receive the sub so i can play and not go out looking for equipment

I read some about that problem at HTF a while back, but don't remember the 1050 being affected. There was some talk about it in this thread a while back regarding possible problems with the 950 (also referred to the original thread on HTF ). The general opinion there was that the 950 should be fine, and as part of the logic was the need to at least satisfy the 750's needed 1.2V output it would suggest that the 1050 will be OK too.

Looking at what I just typed -- that's a lot of guesswork!

No problems here I run a 16-46 and the samson, though I strongly suggest setting up sub with a spl meter per their instruction manual, it makes a big difference. Congrats on your purchase I know you will love it because I wouldn't trade mine for nothing.

Running an SVS 25-31cs and Samson 700 w/my 1050 here. No problems at all (unless you consider occasionally rattling all of the recessed lighting in the house a problem).

I set mine up w/SPL meter but it seems like I am always adjusting up and down depending on what I am listening to.
