Its a Sony KF60WE610 (Grand Wega not BXR) My guess is you know more about it than I do. I will look in the manual some more and see what I can find. Thanks

If you've got a single button on the remote that will cycle through all the inputs, the FIXTV trick will work. I did a bit of googling on your model number and didn't find anything completely enlightening, but I did find a couple threads that might help.

I will poke around in those threads. So just to be sure I understand the FIXTV a setup in the TV codes it self? I will also contact Sony but they have become at best a 50/50 chance of information.

The "FIXTV" button is just another name for the TV's "input" button (the button that you were using in your macro to change inputs). Best of luck with Sony.

I don't know that I'm fully understanding your problem but two items that might be of use are:
1. Since I never hook anything up through the front inputs of the 990, I designated my HDTV tuner as Vid5, assigned its optical input and component input, which I do switch through the 990, and run my DVI connection directly to my front projector.
2. Before I ordered the 600, I was very concerned that there were no programmable remotes with jog/shuttle dials. When I got the unit, I was amazed to find that the directional segments of the thumbstick are capable of learning repeating commands; jogging is now a one handed operation, rather than a two handed one.
