Wow. I was thinking of doing the same, but I decided to wait to take my 950 out until I can do a side by side comparison of the two. Not that I think the 990 won't be an improvement, just want to compare the two out of curiosity. Plus now that new 950's are no longer being sold, I'm not too concerned about being able to git rid of mine when the time comes.
