Is there any downside to using a 7.1 (7100) in 5.1 system and not "upgrading" to 7.1 for a few years?
I mean, current creates heat, two of the 7 channels not being used...am I going to damage the amp or system by NOT using the other 2?
If not, I will probably stay with the 7100 but if so, I need to get the 755...
I hope I'm making sense because I sure don't KNOW what I'm talkin' about...;-)
