I didn't see anything specifically related to the 3910, but the player is virtually identical to the 5900 and the 5900 converts to PCM. This article mentions the DSD to PCM conversion is fairly typical for universal players. Like I said, the conversion probably doesn't have any effect on SQ. Glad to hear you enjoy your Denon!
