Here's the deal. I know a guy who runs a car audio store and he is cleaning out some unused inventory. I guess there isn't much need for short interconnects in cars, so he offered me some Stinger interconnects at cost. They're o.f.c., twisted pair, shielded, heavy-duty looking cables. I figure a car is a much harsher environment than your typical home theater, so, is there any downside or other reason that these cables will not work in a home theater setting?

Thanks in advance,
Noloft

If they have RCA's at both ends, there's no reason I can think of why they couldn't be used for analog interconnects in a home.

No difference in sound - but then again I believe that to be the case with all interconnects!

I happen to use a handfull of very short, rugged, Monster Cable auto interconnects, some of which I use between my ICBM and Model 950's 5.1 analogue inputs - because they were in a "bargain bin," and because they were the perfect length (for space and esthetic reasons). Work just fine. Could have used anything else and they would still sound the same (to repeat myself.)
