On my first try, I got down to -39db before making a mistake using headphones. On my second try, using my computer speakers (Boston Acoustics), I got down to -45db before making a mistake. That either says Boston Acoustic speakers are really transparent or I learned quick what to listen for.

It would be nice to use such a test when demoing speakers.

I made it to -24db before I got it wrong using my cheep computer speakers........not bad for a old metal head with busted ear drums.....lol

I made it down to -21db the first time. The second time was "worse."

I was using 'quality' headphones, at a moderate volume (i.e. I didn't cringe).
