I deactivated mine. It's not really a bad idea, but I think it's better without it. What's popular is not always right, and what's right is not always popular. Going against popularity can be a good way to bring your rating down and end up lessening the spread of sound knowledge.

I've disabled mine too.

Actually, my feelings were hurt - I actually felt embarrassed that SH had felt it necessary to remove the thread rip and pass it on thread, and I actually pm'ed SH and apolgized if I made him angry. However, I didn't bump down his rating, mainly because I respect his opinions, and his feelings - and I didn't see a point.
