What’s wrong with green?
Besides high value, that’s what visually separates Outlaw from others. :p

Nothing's wrong with green, but I think that Outlaw has moved on from it. Based on the pictures from HE2004 in New York (both psklenar\'s pictures and desperado\'s pictures ), Outlaw has refined their design style some. The basic "feel" of the gear (RR2150 excluded, of course, since it's sort of unique) still hasn't changed much in my opinion - the only significant difference is the removal of the green power button, which while distinctive also generated a lot of grief for them. That's OK, though, because I've got one of the original green buttons on my Model 750 (complete with back light when it's on) and a green button on the 950. smile The rest of the changes could be considered variations on the original theme: black aluminum faceplate, nothing but a power button on the amps, and a simple assortment of buttons along with a large volume knob on the far right for other gear. It's still Outlaw, but it's less likely to get accused of being ugly.

I'd gotten pretty used to the old green color scheme after all these years, but so far I've found the new gray and light blue combo very comfortable. And so far the old "post new topic" and "post reply" buttons are still hanging around, complete with the ol' green buttons...

The member rating system? The archive section?
Perhaps the fact that you must now be logged in to view member's profiles?

What do you win if you guess correctly? laugh

No prize this time, but how about a hint...

The new change is NOT in the Saloon.

Scotty...

You wouldn't have went and updated those prices on us when you changed the look did you? If they are lower (since I can't tell) let me know...I have more equipment to buy! wink

Just kidding...the new ordering section looks sweet too. You're just tempting me to buy something to try it out though and see if it works... wink

I like the new order page. Definitely a worthwhile improvement there. Our illustrious forum administrator has been busy lately.

Good heavens,

You go away for a couple of days and everything changes! I hit the back button on Firefox when I hit the site because I did not recognize it at first. smile

Very classy new look with the saloon and ordering pages. Most impressive indeed.

Scott, to echo Incognito it does look like the prices are slightly lower, not to mention the NICE suprise of 3 M200 amps with free shipping???! smile

Talk about tempting.......

Let's just say the new cart has enabled us to be both more flexible and more accurate in our pricing. I'm so happy to hear everyone's enjoying the changes. I highly encourage you all to go ahead and order a shirt and hat to try out the new cart! I mean really, what would you look better in than an Outlaw baseball cap or T-shirt smile

Best,

Scott

wow, I've been lurking off and on ... poking my nose in here to catch up every 3-4 weeks ... what an eye opener this time! eek but a nice eye opener. smile

Tom, while it may be easy enough to get tired of a site, it's the people of the Saloon that have always kept this place interesting to me. there are fun (and funny) folks, there are smart folks and there's just a ton of friendly folks. just my two cents of course. wink

looks very nice Scott! I'll have to drop Peter a line and ask him to keep you on the job. :p
