I don't have any hands-on experience with either brand, although some older Marantz players have had some trouble with the
Secrets shootout tests . The NAD players look nice - I don't know anything about their actual performance, but it looks like they probably have a more substantially engineered analog audio section than a lot of players. There's one review of the T571 at
AudioReview that might be useful if you haven't already seen it. The Marantz does offer DVD-Audio, whereas the NAD changers do not.
If you haven't already done so, I'd try to take some demo discs to a dealer and look at the players for a bit.
