What type of cable is needed to connect the 750 to the 1050 (waiting for my 950! ) so that the 750 will turn on when 1050 is switched on? If you have a link to a specific part that I can order, it would be extra helpful. Thanks!

You need a "3.5mm mono mini-plug" cable (male to male) -- in other words, a cable with small headphone plugs on each end (the mono kind, not stereo). It needs plugs that look like this on each end:

(note that you only want one dark band at the end, not two -- two would indicate a stereo plug)

I couldn't find a cable on Radio Shack's site or PartsExpress's site (still looking), but they are available at Radio Shack. I actually already had one lying around from who-knows-what...

Just got back from RS and wanted to post the part number. It is a 6-ft (1.82m) shielded audio cable, #42-2420A. Also picked up an analog sound meter to tweak my system.

The 3.6mm parts are full-size phono plugs.

Aren't the 1/4" plugs the "full-size" phono plugs?

Yes, I believe that is correct.

Edit: Here is the cable scooter found...
