Take a bow, HI-FI , wherever you are, because Outlaw has taken a page from the "New Product Suggestion" forum. I think there have been a few other posts in favor of Outlaw logo attire from the forum over the last few years, but that thread was the first example that I found. What am I rambling about? Outlaw Gear -- T-shirts and caps. It's $15 for either a cap or a shirt, and $26 for both. I may have to pick up one of the caps soon.

I got a question with the t-shirt...

Is the "Back-off" t-shirt the back of the shirt on the left or is it the front of a completely different shirt?

Otherwise, very cool!

It looks to me like the back says "back off!" and the front has the logo on the left side.

Yeah, but you know, the 1070 and RR2150 both looked pretty green-less too. We may be nearing the end of an era for the "big green" power button.

I can't tell by the images if the shirts are white cloth with black print, or gray-variant-threaded cloth with black print represented in slightly overexposed photos.

Maybe in the near future there will be other color schemes available.

I didn’t know you are a bigger guy than I am. In that case, I'd better be polite.

My hat and shirt arrived yesterday. In answer to some of the questions above:

The shirt is light gray, and "Back Off" is on the back.

The hat is gray-green (?) denim. Although of good quality, the hat is smallish, and the cap itself is totally unstructured--the typical lining is missing from the front (i.e., behind the logo).

I'm surprised no one has said this yet, but if you went to the Home Entertainment Expo in NYC back in June, and went to the Outlaw suite, you either received an Outlaw travel alarm clock/calculator (which was pretty cool--it opened up automatically at the touch of a button!) or an Outlaw baseball cap!! I took the baseball cap and have been proudly wearing it since!! By the way, did I mention that it's the ONLY thing I own from Outlaw!!.....Just bought a house and now need to wait even longer to pull the trigger on the 950/7100 combo (or 950 replacement, if it's announced!).

Actually, I came VERY close to "stealing" a combo from the demos they were selling off at the show!! I spoke with Diane, who was simply WONDERFUL and who was willing to make every concession in order to hook me up, but unfortunately (or fortunately--remember the house!) my better half reminded me that we have no money!!!

Yeah, I opted for the hat at the show. I should have realized that they would eventually sell the hats and taken the cool calculator. Oh well.

I wore my hat on a cruise last week and no one came up to me to ask how I got it. My wife was laughing at me when I remarked on this. I told her that either we were the only Outlaws on the ship or the other ones simply hadn't seen the hat. No self-respecting Outlaw would have would have passed by without saying hello.

T-shirt is on the way!

My caps and shirts showed up over the weekend (got two of each, since Mrs. gonk wanted one). The shirts needed a run through the wash to get rid of the itchiness, but otherwise look good. As michaelstano noted, the hats are good quality and unstructured. I wore the hat a bit yesterday, but in my couple errands around town didn't run into any fellow Outlaws.
