Audioquest Slate speaker cables and apature digital cables

I had 2 systems, sold 1 and can now move to a seperate amp for my Denon, or buy another receiver to replace the Onkyo that I sold. I am really more of a music listener, but I like to watch movies too. I would like the opinions of other klipsch owners, does the 1050 live up musically with the klipsch (tame that horn so to speak)? I want a warm musical sound, not the lean somewhat harsh sound I am getting with the denon. I would give up some theater performance for better music. So do I buy the 1050 for the klipsch or get the Rotel 5 channel THX amp? They are the same price. My other system had a pair of B&w bookshelfs. And how are the Outlaw interconnects? I would consider selling the Denon and buying a Outlaw if it would totally blow away the denon 2801. Thanks in advance for your help.
