How do I configure my DVD player to play DVD-A and SACD’s with the bass management feature in my 950? My DVD player does have bass management, but as I understand it, it simply sends the bass to the sub, but still sends the full signal to the main speakers. Do I set my 5 main speakers to large (they are not full range) and turn off the sub on my DVD player, then turn on the bass management on the 950? Should I leave the sub on? Or should I set the main speakers to small and leave the sub on?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

In your case, I would set the five speakers to large on the DVD player, leave the sub on, and turn on the analog bass management on the 950.
