It helps to hire an architect if you have not already.
If it can be helped, symmetrically placed speakers in an asymmetrically shaped room will be ideal. If not (shape), the surface treatment (acoustically) will help. Depends on how good you want your HT to be, this may be just a tip of an iceberg.
