I planing on buying an sacd/dvd audio player and like what I've been reading about the Pioneer DV-563a. I just noticed that they also have a DV-563as model out. Does anyone know the difference in these 2 players? Any info would be of great help to me.

I think the "S" denotes a "silver" finish, which looks to be the only finish available. The rear panel photo on Crutchfield shows the model number as "DV-563A-S" while the front just reads "DV-563A". Panasonic often does something similar when offering products in both black ("k") and silver ("s") finish.

All the units we sell at my store are silver and none have the 's' notation on the box.
