Anyone have any thoughts out there on using Paradigm Reference vs. Onyx/Swans (Diva replacments)? The thought of purchasing gear on line has been crossed (gladly I can say!)so now I am considering taking this route for my speakers. The power for these fronts and centers will be an Anthem MCA or PVA.

Suggestions welcome.

I'm running Paradigm studio 100s thru some Outlaw gear and I really like the sound. I never heard the swans so I can't be subjective.

I can't say much about the swans. I recently upgraded to some Axiom (similar online company) audio speakers. I'm very happy with them.

I prefer the Paradigms to the only Swans I have heard, but the Axioms I bought were better than either. For the first few minutes they sounded bright. Now I realize they are just sooo damned detailed.

I have yet to see any shootouts with the v3 Paradigm Studios and Onix Rockets or Swan Divas. I've read a number of shootouts between the v2 Studios and Rockets and in most cases, those present preferred the Rockets. However, those are only other peoples opinions. The best way is to hear for yourself. You should check out audioenvy.com to see if there are any Rocket or Swan Diva owners near you.
