OK, here's some fun stuff from the vaults. I have a .wav file of a recording I made during some military live fire exercises in the California desert. It is a sequence of a military attack on an imaginary "enemy" which includes M1-A1 tank cannon fire, howitzers, troops firing M-16s while advancing, and Harrier jet flyovers up close - all from varying distances that get down to less than 100 yards for the M1-A1 cannon shots, right in front of you. Ouch!
This is a .wav file of about 22 megabytes for the stereo file, which can be burned to CD for some good 'ol lease-breaking fun. Just be careful with your hyper-expensive speakers though until you get a feel for the sound levels!
