How does a 12v trigger work? Does it supply 12v constantly while the recvr is on? Can I use it to power a small fan so that the fan runs only when the recvr is on?

Thanks

Bob

The trigger from the 1050 provides constant current while the receiver is on. Unfortunately, the documentation on the website is incorrect. The DC trigger port provides 6 Volts DC at only 5 Milliamps. Not very much current. In fact, it wasn't enough to trigger my Parasound HCA-1500 amp so I have to leave thae amp on all the time.

If you can find a fan that'll run off that little current, you should be fine.
