I found this:
http://www.fivechannels.com/artiklar/CDvsSACDvsDVD-A-followup.htm And tracked it down to this:
http://sound.westhost.com/cd-sacd-dvda.htm Then to this:
http://sound.westhost.com/index.html Browsing in DIY stuff ran into it, I like to look far and wide, and always search for a good cross section of foreign sites, , it is interesting to see their posts on AV, it gives me a ‘broader’ perspective with greater distance and dispassionate opinions than when I surf the ‘local’ ponds - I look as wide as possible.
By the way some Italian site was intrigued enough about the Outlaw 950, to give it a mention in their CES report amongst products that were many/many thousands more.
Sometimes I run into weird and/or wonderful articles. Rod Elliott seems to be a major DIY’er with some products to sell, but my red flags are up. I can’t confirm whom Niklas Ladberg and Ing. Ohman actualy are and Mr Elliott himself never lists names of actual AV related jobs he has had, just vague references. Nonetheless, see what you think of this. It has come to my attention that when surfing foreign sites, I tend to run into more support for DVD-A. I have not figured out ‘why’ yet. As I’m still trying to just grasp the tech, behind it all.
