Hi everyone,

I am not currently an owner of the 1050, but am planning to purchase a unit relatively soon.

I am attempting to correctly match speakers to my stereo (then eventually HT) system, and would welcome comments/descriptions on the sound of the 1050 at high frequencies. For example, would you describe the highs as more forward or laid back. Or if you could comment on how the 1050 sounds compared to other receivers in the high frequency range, this would also prove helpful.

I know this is very subjective as everyone's system is going to vary based on different equipment and room variations, but any input will prove useful in my decision.

Sounds natural to me

"Natural" is a good way to put it. The general opinion seems to be that it's pretty neutral.
