Your Chuck Mangione reference made me think of a Mangione recording that I have. I originally thought it was the Hollywood Bowl concert but it turned out to be his "Land of Make Believe" concert instead. Guess I should check out the other one...

OT: This maybe off topic a bit, but not really. I'm reading the liner notes to the "Land of Make Believe" concert and noticed something pretty cool if you're a person who likes good brass players. The guest trumpeter is Jon Faddis, something I had noticed when I first got the album. What I didn't notice is that the horn section for the orchestra is the Canadian Brass Quintet!! As I said, pretty cool stuff if you like a good horn section. laugh

I have a few Canadian Brass recordings, and like their sound. I'll have to check out "Land of Make Believe"
