When it comes to rock music through the ages, Cameron Crowe knows how to layer it on to a movie.

Anyhow, just watched Elizabethtown, Crowe's latest masterpiece of romance, loss and life. Movie shows once again how Crowe is able to leverage his knowledge of the music world in order to create a sonically amazing cinematic experience.

Also shows just how good the 990 is (when used with a good speaker package, natch) at delivering true sonic bliss.

Anyhow, if you like blues, rock, Cameron Crowe movies, love, romance and southern hospitality, put Elizabethtown in your demo portfolio.

We saw that just a week or so ago, actually. A pretty entertaining story and an absolutely great soundtrack (and some nice Memphis music history tossed in for good measure). And, yeah, it sounded really good on the 990.

Wow, you just called Elizabethtown a masterpiece without the slightest bit of sarcasm. A film that has received the whopping score of 45 on Metacritic . Great soundtrack, terrible, terrible movie.
