speaker-level ICBM

A one-box bass management solution (like ICBM) which sits between a home theatre receiver and the speakers.

Such a product would be useful for those of us that want flexible bass management, but do not have separate pre/pro and amps.

It's an interesting idea. The one catch here would be that you would need to use your sub's speaker inputs rather than the line level amp input, since everything would be done after the amplification. I'm also not sure what sort of difficulties might crop up with manipulating the amplified signals that way.

I certainly don't pretend to understand the requirements... we can leave that up to Outlaw Engineeering.

I believe Outlaw Marketing people could identify a substantial market though. There is quite a large installation-base of home theatre receivers with BAD bass management. Couple that with a user-base that has become far more savvy.
