Having the Video 4 (A/V) inputs only on the front of the receiver is a bummer. How hard would it have been to have access to these in back as well. I have need for 5 input (video 4 is actually the 5th input on this model since the DVD input is labelled DVD), but can't leave a wire hanging out of the front of the unit 24/7. Seems access inputs in both places a software switch to pick front or back panel and wouldn't be huge big deal to implement.

I would expect that if they had an additional input on the back, they'd want to have it independent just like the other four video inputs - having one "input" mapped to two sets of jacks would create far too much opportunity for user confusion and unhappiness.

I assume all five inputs are video so that you can't move any to the audio inputs?
