hey folks, was wondering if any of you are using the 6th & 7th channel on your amps to power the 2nd audio zone? I ammuse this is the way to go since I can only utilize the 5.1 at this point? Just got my 950/7100 and can't wait to find the time to hook it up! could also use my Harmon/Kardon receiver for that but my kid wants it bad so thought I better find another way! thanks...
Brett

BrettCottel, I use my 770's 6th & 7th channel to drive my zone two. Actually, I use it for my 7.1 set-up, but when I use zone two I throw two switches and now my 950 is sending its zone two signals to 6&7 amp inputs and sending the amplified signals to my zone two speakers. Works fine. I may some day purchase a pair of 200s and then I won't have to go through all this switching, but for the time being it works well.

Me too...I sought a bit of how-do-I advice here when I first got my 950/770 since for the time being I am running 5.1. The second zone works great this way for me. I also use a MX600 remote that is RF/IR so I can control the zone from my office.
