It's really a shame that we've gotten to the point that the high end is so techy and the second tier so unreliable that it makes it so difficult for small-mid-sized manufacturers that have always given us such great products, have such trouble bringing their product to market.
The impatience that we've seen exhibited in this forum amoung early adopters will probably push them more toward the garden variety products. If the latest and greatest is that important to them, God beless 'em. I hope it doesn't reduce the market to the point where smaller producers can't stay in business.
I take hope in the model of such manufacturers as Cary Audio who has always produced wonderful products, though they haven't sold very many of any of them.
Still it starts to limit the market to producers who are quest oriented rather tha profit motivated. Is that bad? I really don't know, but it sounds expensive.
