I was thinking to buy a pair of Axiom M80 speakers. I have heard that used speakers are not reliable.

Anyone has some comments??

Of the eight speakers in my current HT (including the subwoofer) six of them were purchased used. I only purchased two rear speakers new to fill out my 7.1 system. They work very, very nicely.

I would have no qualms about buying speakers from a fellow audio enthusiast because they tend to be as anal about the care of their equipment as I am.
