I just hooked up my 1070 this morning. I can only turn the unit on manually. I can then turn it off using the remote, but I cannot turn it back on using the remote, only manually again. All other functions of the remote seem to work O.K. or at least those I've tried up to now.

Has anyone else encountered this problem, or can anyone suggest what could be causing this??

Thanks.

The remote's power button is a discrete "off" command - the discrete "on" command is any input selection. So if you hit "DVD" or "Video1" or "CD" the 1070 will turn on and will switch to that input. It's done to help uses who set up universal remotes with system on and off macros.
