Hi all,

I'm looking forward to buying the 990/7125 combo and matching them with the Aperion Intimus 533-PT Powered Tower Speakers.

I currently have old and I mean very old B&W speakers (DM7 MKII) and it's time for an upgrade! They're over 25 years old! They've been good to me but it's time to give up the ghost and excorcise (sp) some demons that have developed with them over the years.

I'm really excited about pairing the Aperions up with the Outlaws!

Anybody on the forum have this setup and if so what can I expect as it relates to the sonic imprint? In other words, how will they sound? I know how systems sound is very subjective but chime in anyway.

By the way, very cool forum!

Al

Welcome to the saloon, Al. Aperion's speakers have a good reputation, and I suspect that there are more than a couple Outlaw/Aperion setups out in the wild right now. The 990 and Outlaw's amps are inherently pretty darn neutral, so they shouldn't do much to whatever characteristics that are typical for the Aperions.
