Volks Deputy Gunslinger Registered: 12/14/06 Posts: 1 Loc: Brooklyn, NY	I want to replace my aging Parasound AVC-1800, but I'm on a tight budget. Has anymore used or considered using the 1070 as a pre/pro as opposed to either the 970 or maybe 990? Is this a viable option sonically and functionally? Reason for considering: 970 - has a few bugs that aren't yet fixed. 990 - price for the most part. Current System : Denon DVD-1920 Parasound AVC-1800 Krell KAV-500 Von Schweikert VR2000 (front) Von Schweikert LCR-20 (center) PSB Image B25 (rear) SVS 20-39cs (passive sub) Parasound HCA-2003 (sub amp) Hitachi 51S700

gonk Desperado Registered: 03/21/01 Posts: 14054 Loc: Memphis, TN USA	The 1070 and 970 are the same platform - Outlaw just removed the amps from the 1070 to get the 970. Are you implying that the 1070 has the same issues as the 970 also?
