can't log in or register ?

I just moved to Hungary, and am not able to register or log in because of my IP address. Are EU IP's automatically banned ? (using a proxy at the moment)

There may be some anti-spam measures in place that are targeting IP's in certain regions - eastern Europe would seem to be a candidate for that sort of blocking, and I've seen a lot of forums struggle with that sort of junk. If that's the case, it may be that they can make some arrangements for you, though.
