I understand that the 1050 or the 950 have the tape loop. Is it possible for me to hookup the equalizer (I use it for VCR & CD) to the receiver using the tape loop?

Thanks,

Kevin

Kevin,

Did you ever figure out how to hook-up your EQ to the 1050? If so, please let me know.

Thanks,
Jim

I asked a similar question (for a karaoke mixer and EQ) and got a big 'no way'. The 1050 isn't really blessed with a traditional tape loop / monitor type deal.

In my case I used a spare input (AUX) and I first switch to the LD player (video 3) and then to AUX. The audio outputs from the LD are split, with one set direct into V3 and a second set going through the mixer to AUX. Since AUX isn't a video source the video is untouched if you use the remote to switch direct from V3 to AUX.

But that won't work for you unless you want to EQ just a single source.

Using a preamp/amp it becomes easy, of course.
