My odd-shaped room has an unfortunate arrangement in which my surround speakers are not the same distance from the listener. Is there any way to adjust the delay and / or level separately for each speaker using the 1050? Any other suggestions in this regard?

I believe that the delay setting is for the surrounds together (no individual adjustment), but the levels for each can be adjusted separately. I have a somewhat similar problem in that my right surround has to be farther back in the room (window and door don't leave enough space to mount the speaker where I'd like to put it). I used test tones on the Video Essentials DVD (although the 1050's internal test tones would also work) and an SPL meter from Radio Shack to adjust the levels so that I got roughly the same dB level at the listener's location.
