I talked my brother into an Outlaw 1050 last week and he sends me the following question. Any help fellow Outlaws?

"When configuring the speaker delay for dolby digital, it won't stay in dolby digital and quickly changes to dolby pro logic which has it's own delay setting. I went through the procedure in the manual 100X to no avail. It just won't stay in the dolby digital mode (saying that the front display should show the the red lit double D for dolby digital) it flashed the red doubly D and then quickly changes to the blue lit dolby pro logic. ???

The manual isn't telling me what I'd hoped to find, but I believe that the source you are using must be providing a 5.1 channel digital signal (DD or DTS) -- a 2.0 channel digital signal will decode as Pro-Logic, putting it in the Pro-Logic mode. If I have a chance tonight, I'll try to confirm that with my 1050.

Thats what I told my brother. I think I remember reading somewhere that the 1050 must be processing a DD 5.1 signal while you are setting the delay. I couldn't be sure as I set mine up quite awhile ago.
