quick hookup question

when i hook up a second zone to the 950 can i use a receiver? i would like to hook it up to a harman kardon receiver i currently have. i think i can just run the cables from the 950 into the aux or cd inputs of the HK and control it that way. possible? thanks for any help.

Yes, this is possible. You will have two volume controls in series (one at the 950's second zone and one at the HK receiver), but if you set one to a position and leave it there (I'd set the 950's second zone to something around -10dB or so) you can use the other to control the volume.
