Is the next generation 950 worth waiting for ?

Just wondering if any of you had any insight into a next generation 950 pre-amp from Outlaw. Is it on the horizon any time soon and if so, could you speculate on what features and/or improvements would we see in this unit. Do you feel it would be a big improvement over the current 950 and would it be wise putting off purchasing one now. I am interested in the 950/770 combo. Any input would be appreciated.

There is no information available on a replacement or "big brother" to the 950. I wouldn't wait -- if nothing else, a used 950 could be sold to help pay for a replacement, and in the intervening year(s) you'll have the enjoyment of using it.
