Upgrade from 1050

Upgrade from 1050 - 12/05/03 11:04 PM

I've had my 1050 a little over 2 years and am intrigued by the 950/7100 upgrade opportunity. I’ve been satisfied with the 1050, but NOT thrilled like many forum posters. I would be grateful if any of the forum sages would comment on what differences they thought a 950/7100 upgrade would make, given my modest speaker config (Polk Audio RM6600 system - specs below).

I would probably end up adding a 6th and possibly a 7th speaker to the set-up. I’d like to upgrade, but I have my doubts. Thanks in advance for the response. -chris

I upgraded from a 1050 to a 950 and noticed a significant change. It's been a while now since I made the switch, but for what it's worth, it was a very worthwhile upgrade for me.
