Hi Guys,

Can I hook up the 950/770 with 5.1 in the living room and then use the extra two channels on the 770 amp for the second zone of the 950 in another room??????

Yes, I don't know offhand how to do it, but it is in the manual. A lot of it is hooking up to the right channels on the 950.

Just run a set of interconnects from the zone 2 output on the back of the 950 to the open inputs on the 770, then run speaker cable from the available outputs to the second zone speakers.

highdraw is correct. I went one step further and placed a speaker selector switch in the path so that I can run back speakers in a 7.1 configuration or I can run a zone two in another area. To do this I also had to use an external input selector for the 950. This summer I plan on just buying 2 mono blocks to free up the 770 for just 7.1 playback.
